If you are seeking a career in audio engineering or music production, look no further than The Art Institute of Atlanta.

There you will learn about every aspect of audio and music production and engineering, including how to operate the equipment and software. You will learn how to create, mix, edit, and produce audio and music for live and post-productions.

After Graduation

Once you graduate you will be fully prepared to work as an assistant editor, assistant engineer, board operator, or a sound assistant.

These are entry level positions that will allow you to work your way up and gain a better understanding of your dream job. You will learn how to build and repair audio equipment that uses thermionic tubes, how to perform typical MIDI functions, and use live sound mixing applications.

Why Attend School in Atlanta

The city of Atlanta has much for college students to enjoy. If you love sports you should check out a game at the Georgia Dome, or Philips Arena.

If your interests lean more toward history and art, you should check out the Alliance Theatre, the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, or the Atlanta History Center. For those who love the outdoors there is the Atlanta Motor Speedway, Chattahoochee National park and nature center, the Roswell Historic District walking tours, and Air Atlanta Helicopter tours.

Being in college is about more than just studying and working toward your career goals. It is a chance to get out into the world and explore new things and places. Those who are looking to do the latter will definitely have an easier time adjusting to school life.
