A Positive Outlook in North Carolina

North Carolina is home to the eldest State University in the Nation, The University of North Carolina Chapel Hill.

For 100 years the state was thought to be the birthplace of aviation because the Wright brothers made their first successful flight there, it actually turns out that Ohio owns that title because that is where the Wright brothers were from.

The state is was also home to the very first English colony, located on Roanoke Island, unfortunately it vanished as if no one was ever there.

The average cost of living in North Carolina is almost 7% lower than the national average, and like most states with a lower cost of living, the average annual salary is also lower. It is around $41,000 a year, close to the average for Ohio citizens.

Audio engineers who live and work in the state should have very little trouble making an above average salary as the average annual income is around $66,000 a year, which is around $25,000 more than the average worker.

With a lower cost of living than some other states and a higher salary range for audio engineers, North Carolina is definitely a state worth looking into. It is host to some of the most beautiful beaches the country has and has a long rich history for those who are interested.
